Monday, September 25, 20069:06 PMpHoTos went to see the WORLD PRESS PHOTO exhibition at national library ytd.

where they feature 200+ prize winning photographs which captured the most powerful, moving n mostly disturbing events of yr 2005. it has come to regard as the most prestigious award for photojournalism in the world, yup, so it's worth to take a look there. ends tis thurs! ahh promos coming rite, dont tink anyone will be bothered to go down n see right, haiz nvm.

anyway, the photos there are fairly well-taken, where u can see great stories from just series of pictures, wif some captions beside to string them tgt. most of them are bout the developing countries wif inadequate resources or frequent attacks by the rebels, and depicts the sufferings they had went thru in those helpless days.

one of the picture featured was a little boy clinging one arm over his father's neck, while his other amputated arm was being sewed at the broken link. he was crying- but wat can he do. n wat can his father do. it was pathetic for a boy to go thru such tramatic pain n torture at tis young age, yet all we can do is to stare at the picture in vain. perhaps tat's wat the photographer wanted to draw our attention to- be grantful tat we are living in a country of peace n harmony, n tat the children around us hav a heathy mind n body.

be grantful tat we hav education n exams, as while we are buring the midnight oil, some other teenages in some other rural parts of the world may still be carrying sacks of coal even after working 14 hrs of hard labour, wif no time left to wallop in sorrow for their death relatives, much less to say spare time to study ABC.

8:09 PMaUdItIoNs today woke up at 630am dunno for wat, haha, ended up in toa payoh macs eating breakfast lo. yup, decided tat the superstar queue was simply too long for us, plus it was SUPER diu lian to be caught part of the queue wif the extra big blue number tag by any frens if they by any chance happens to be toa payoh at the same time.

alright, say tat im juz not COURAGEOUS enough. =X

never mind! next time lo.

then we took train to somerset n loitered in cineleisure.
8 45am! omg everybody else is still sleeping comfortable in bed on a cool sat morning n WAT are we doing here in orchard at tis unearthly hour whereby the shops are not even opened?? so we juz went up the level 6 there the sofas n read my chemical equilibrium notes. haha im revising! muz mug for promos alrdy ya. when we finally past one hr of sianz-ing, we shifted downstairs to the box office n sat in front of the big preview screen. spent the next hr there waiting movie trailers... zzZ

got a lot of new n nice upcoming movies! like:

physics kinda got on everybody's nerves.
4 hrs!
like it's OUR fault tat our lecture grp is lagging, so we are obliged to reach sch 1 hr earlier for make-up, tsk.
so we were made to listen to wadeva in the world of zeroTH order (if there's ever tis word), n stare n the same 2 holes diagram whereby the light source shine thru to produce light n dark fringes cast onto the screen for dunno how many ZILLIONNN times.
argh someone plssss throw a boulder at tat uncle can?

yup n i kinda got frustrated wif tat new skin, so hard to perfect it.
the old skin still looks pretty, doesnt it? =)
