holiday!! so happy. i went to the celebration@ yishun, there was like so many so many pple. n from this point i can see that singaporeans r very patiotic, most r dressed in red n white. haha i was wearing this beige tshirt wif pink pants, a bit the not off colour lah. n i was wearing my new white flipflop i bought on jt's b'day, first time leh, all new n white. however, as soon as i reached the carnival, someone stepped onto my right flipflop n there! a "nice" grey mark. thxs to whoever it is. then we went to the pasar malam at the other side of the mrt station n bought food back to the celebration to eat. we have to stand cos the grass is quite dirty. there was this time where there was a few unidentifed flying objects flying about, n they got light bulbs on them which can change into different colours. i can only see that some of them are in the shape of butterflies. the next big thing are r the fireworks. very pretty, in all sorts og shape n colours. wow can u imagine how many thousands of $ we spent on juz this 3 mins? after the first round, a lot of pple started leaving, then there is suddenly another round of fireworks. cool. the beautiful fireworks spread across the black sky forming a magnificent view. yup. then we stayed on to watch some malay guy dancing n trying to bring high the crowd, but to no avail. then is TWINS! haha they wore black. i was quite far from the stage, so can only see 2 black figures walking about. but luckily there are 2 big screens. they sang 2 songs n left. i wanted to leave too, but my mum insist on watching the mobile column, so we went to stand behind the vip area n watched. so tiring lah, got so many vehicles, some of them even stopped n rushed out some soldiers holding their amenities n shot. no bullets of cos. they even stopped all the buses from moving to allow the tracks n army cars to come thru. finally when everything is over, we wanted to walk to the bus stop to go home. juz then, something happened. i stepped into this trap of muddy grass, n my grey flipflops become brown now. haha thxs to the mud this time. the first thing i did when i reached home is to scrub them.
